Lace has always been favorite of mine hence the title "fringe and lace" this spring trend is so sexy and soooo feminine! Sheer-ly Spring #2

Sheer's are in for spring, layer a beautiful sheer dress over a colorful slip or simply layer a sheer tank with your favorite jeans and some pretty sandals. Sheer is the 2nd trend of the top 10, it is feminine and sexy!

Trends for Spring #1

Starting today I will be featuring the 10 trends for spring so you can stock your closet and be the most fashionable girl around town. Here is # 1.

The first trend is denim, denim and more denim. The biggest trend is the denim on denim trend, this used to be a faux pas but now it is a fashion statement. LOVE LOVE LOVE free people's new January catalog...mixing prints is all the rage for spring and everything in their catalog has a beautiful whimsical spirit to it. The way they mix the bohemian style and add a little edge to it makes me drool over every single piece....yum!

Lively Lively

Blake Lively along with January Jones is embracing the fringe trend of Versace.
I am loving the nude color and the way it hugs her curves, she is gorg! My favorite guilty pleasure of course is watching gossip girl with a glass of almond milk and a couple chocolate chips! Check out January in a shorter version of the one she wore to the Golden Globes...

Effortless

I have also loved Rachel Bilsons style, she always looks effortlessly chic.

Fringe in January

January Jones was an absolute show stopper in Versace tonight. She is so stunning it's crazy!! I am loving this red fringe number, she is a retro goddess. I thought this was daring, unique and fit her persona perfectly! Nicely done.....cheers to her stylist!

Black Swan

Being a dancer throughout the years has taught me discipline and form of expression. The movie black swan (which I am dying to see, going this weekend)... has transformed beautiful costumes into works of art. Expressing yourself on stage is one thing, but Rodarte the creators of these costumes have taken it to a whole new level. Here are some beautiful inspirations of fashion from the world of ballet.

Feather me this....

I am in a feather phase...my sister in law just got this really pretty extension sewn into her hair. When her hair moves in the wind you can see a hint of a feather. I loved it so much that I have been researching places to get it done in Orange County and can't find any (any suggestions would be awesome).This featehr cuff is gorgeous and plated in gold by cc skye.

the wild unknown

For Christmas I got this amazing prism filled with sand, feathers and pieces of driftwood. The little world inside the prism is peaceful and serene. My brother and his wife have such creative friends, they hang out on the streets of NYC and play music, create jewelry and have such an inspiring group of eclectic friends. Kim Krans the designer of these prisms also makes amazing calendars full of her intricate artwork. She also is in the Family Band with my bro, and has an amazingly beautiful voice. I am fascinated with her ideas and she was also featured in last months Lucky Magazine. You can find her stuff on the wild unknown , and the family band has some really good tunes I recommend it!

Foxy Delight

The brand Stone Cold Fox is something I have been watching develop for awhile now. I have noticed posts on facebook here and there and I have heard through the laguna grapvine about some stylish fashionistas who were developing a rad line called Stone Cold Fox. I don't know these girls personally but I can say that I would love to own pretty much this whole line. I love love love the throw back to the 70s and the beautiful detail and blush colors they use. It is so feminine and gorgeous and every piece has a uniqueness. obssessing...and it's availible at one of my fav stores Westerly!
