fringe in all its glory

I thought I would pay tribute to the name of my blog, by posting these rad designs I found on etsy today. I am so fascinated by these gorgeous textiles and the beautiful fringe detail. It reminds me so much of the 70s era and I am kind of obsessed. From fringed poncho's to bed jackets, bohemian chic is where it's at. The Girl on A Vine's shop is so unique and cool I ended up searching her favorites on etsy forever! A must see!

Now that I own an ipad I have been searching for the perfect carrying case to give it life while also protecting it. Here are some great gift ideas to give someone who has an ipad. The first two are from my favorite obsession, shopbop. The second is a woolly case that you can find from the good flock. And last but not least the marc jacobs ipad case. And that's what I call fashionable technology!

Suck....ulents

I am moving into a rad little beach cottage and I am compiling tips on decorating. I went to the flea market last Sunday and I kept seeing rad old buckets and cool mugs. Then I remembered how much I love succulents, they are easy to take care of and add a little color to your house. I am trying to get the right balance of the anthropologie vibe without over doing it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated :) Happy Friday!

It's a Shear-ling Christmas

My Jacket obsession this season is the shear ling moto Jacket. Every girl needs a rad moto jacket and to top it off this seasons must have comes with killer shear ling lining. This is a must have obsession that every girl should have in their coat closet. As an employee of Quiksilver and a lover of their women's line... Quiksilver women's has a killer version of this jacket out now for Fall. Layer this over a cute black dress with tights and some work boots or pair it up with your favorite skinny jeans and a cute t-shirt. Obsession!

Hats and halo's

Every angel has a halo but do they have this season's must have hat. While browsing through LF Laguna, I noticed that they had the same hat in multiple colors. While trying it on I felt I was invincible, I mean you can hide behind a hat right? But these must have hats have a life of their own, they are indie chic', pair them with a chunky sweater a long skirt and a pair of chunky boots. Get both these looks at LF.

Sweet and Festive

The holidays are here and that means party dresses are too! I am loving all the metallic's and the sparkles, they really put you in the mood for some spiked apple cider and a good time. Pair it with a great pair of tights your favorite short heeled booties ( mine are vintage from the 80's with a little bow) and you've got an outfit for all those holiday parties...Jcrew and Shopbop
